Serving the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle
The Wallingford Community Center project is seeking neighbor involvement in developing program and facility requirements for a new Center.
Wallingford has long identified a need for a community center in the neighborhood. A coalition of Wallingford neighborhood organizations is working to learn what the community feels are the needs a center and its programs could meet and the values you want expressed in a center. More than 80 of your friends and neighbors turned out to attend an evening meeting at St. Benedict School to tell us their preferences for what could be gained from a new community center and where it should be located. Take a look at the pictures of the meeting in the panel to the left.
More than 280 neighbors logged in to complete the online survey. Some preliminary results were reported at the community meeting. Our consultants are busy right now analyzing them and preparing the final report. We will have the results for you by the end of October. The final report will be posted here for your review.
